Meet the Recca family.

To you, they may look like a beautiful family with beautiful children, who dress incredibly well. But to me, they are the most easy-going, good natured, go-with-the-flow type clients.

Let me explain..

Several months before Ilana even gave birth to her littlest, we scheduled this photo shoot. The days leading up to the date we chose, the weather is TERRIBLE. It's so bad she emails me asking if we should probably postpone. I don't ever postpone several days out because Denver weather is so fickle, but come day of, we have to reschedule.

When our rescheduled date arrives I am literally checking the weather every hour. We drive to our location and I get out of my car to a VERY ominous looking scene. The Recca's arrive, and.. cue the rain!!

We are standing under the overhang of their hatchback while I'm looking at the radar weather. Do we stay? Do we move locations? Do we reschedule?

We move locations. And BOY did these photos turn out better than I could have hoped for.
